About the Role
We are searching for a dynamic Country Lead, a super-connector who prides on creativity, problem-solving, excitement about learning new things, and networking skills. This role demands collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, including implementation partners, program teams, field teams, and government authorities, to ensure effective project execution and adherence to regulatory standards. If your background is in health-tech or healthcare companies and you possess strong sector knowledge and relationships that can drive business growth, then you must apply!
Project Overview
As a Country Lead, you will oversee diverse projects in health tech. This will involve leveraging your existing in-country networks and connections with decision-makers to drive initiatives forward. You'll focus on introducing and implementing health tech solutions to improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes.
Requirements

Multi-tasker and ‘go-getter’ attitude with tech orientation.

Experience spanning healthcare companies, innovative health tech firms, the Ministry of Health, or relevant international organisations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of public health dynamics in the country and stakeholder engagement.

Established expertise in healthcare system challenges, with proven skills in public procurement, regulatory navigation, and strategic partnerships with government, health departments, and key sector stakeholders.

Super connector who loves meeting people and making useful introductions

Ability to work on a virtual team with minimal supervision

Willingness to travel to the field and accompany implementing partners as needed

Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Market Strategy Advisory

Lead the development of comprehensive business and market entry strategies to drive client growth and performance.

Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and advise clients on strategic market positioning and expansion.

Foster relationships and networks to enhance business opportunities, ensuring alignment with client goals and market dynamics.

Lead the full lifecycle management of business development deals, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing agreements.
Government and Regulatory Affairs

Establish and maintain effective relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.

Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, and liaisons, advocating their interests.

Facilitate regulatory approvals and compliance, interpreting and advising on policy impacts.
Project Design and Management

Spearheaded the development and design of client-specific projects, ensuring they aligned with strategic objectives and local context.

To deliver exceptional outcomes and oversee project management, including resource allocation, timeline adherence, and quality control.
